The discussion on the topic preventing negative phenomena
On March 30 a meeting with the representatives of various government agencies on prevention of negative social phenomena was held in FEIT. Rector of the Institute A. Solehzoda opened the event and introduced the guests to the participants of the meeting.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Youth, Sport and Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Habibullo Amirbekzoda; Deputy Head of the Service on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency and Youth of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlat Nazarov; an employee of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan Hurshed Davlatzoda; Deputy Director of the Republican Center of formation of healthy lifestyle of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyo Rahmon; employee of Committee on Religious Affairs, the ordering of national traditions, celebrations and ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmatullo Akhmedov, a member of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Husein Gafforzoda and the leading specialist of the Information department of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Madina Boboeva.
In his speech H. Amirbekzoda urged the youth to appreciate and protect the achievements of the independence, make the efforts for upgrading the Homeland and improve the image of the Tajik people and independent Tajikistan in the international arena, always remember that peace and national harmony are our main achievements and the guarantee to further prosperity of our republic.
The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan D. Nazarov noted in his speech that the problem of proliferation of offenses among youth in recent years is the cause of concern. The statistical data show that these indicators are higher as compared with the previous year. Thus, in 2015 the number of crimes committed by young people was 5840, this data is 10% exceed the indications in 2014.
Then the students joined to the conversation and expressed their opinion on the topic. The guests answered the numerous questions of the students.
