Information about the Scientific Library of Finance and Economics

Institute of Tajikistan

Scientific Library of FEIT is one of the leading structural subdivisions of the institute, providing information the educational process and scientific research at the institute. It is the center of library and information support of the educational process. There are three academic libraries, reading halls equipped with computers, electronic library in the structure of the institute’s library.

In the library collection is stored educational, scientific, educational, periodical literature in print and electronic media. In addition, all students and teachers of the institute have access to electronic libraries. Library fund of the institute provides students and teachers with the necessary scientific and educational literature.

Tests for all subjects are in the electronic library that helps to improve the educational process. The electronic library of the institute has two reading halls with 50 seats.

Monthly Results of Monitoring of Visiting the Library by Students

The results of Monitoring showed that students, regardless of the location of faculties, regularly visit all three libraries. For example, in the building where is the library №1  is the faculty of Finance and Credit, but students of all faculties are registered at the library, who systematically use the services of the library.

The Number of Readers at the Libraries of the Institute (2013-2014):

      The Library of FEIT is an active participant in scientific and educational activities of the institute, the initiator of conferences, thematic seminars, meetings with interesting people. Traditionally, in the library of the Institute are organized exhibitions to significant dates. All this is part of work of the library, which is based on the action plan of FEIT.

It is gratifying that in September 2013 Scientific Library of FEIT became a member of the Association of University Libraries of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Scientific Library of the Institute actively collaborates with libraries of the National University of Tajikistan, Tajik State Medical University, Technological University of Tajikistan, as well as with the State Patent Library, with the department to work with libraries of Ministry of Culture of Republic of Tajikistan. Cooperation with the National Library of Tajikistan.

We can say that the library of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan is the center of information support of current educational and research processes and activities of the library create the conditions for obtaining and updating the knowledge which are oriented on perspective.
