Explanation the risk of corruption and its consequences
On June 19, 2015 in accordance with the plan of events a meeting of students and teachers with representatives of the Agency for state financial control and combating corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan - Deputy head of Management of the analysis of corruption risk Tursunzoda Shodkom Hudoimurod and the Deputy chief of Management Zabirzoda Olimjon was held at Finance and economic Institute of Tajikistan.
A regular meeting of the teachers, staff and students of FEIT with representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the framework of the explanation of corruption risks, anti-corruption, and to clarify the essence of the Strategy on combating corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2020. The aim of it is to reduce the level of corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan, the creation of conditions for development of economy, development of democratic values, improving the welfare of the population.
Vice rector for International relations of FEIT Bakhrom Safarov opened the meeting, who noted that such events play a role of anti-corruption factor. It was also emphasized that in Finance and economic Institute of Tajikistan is taking the necessary measures to prevent and combat corruption. Including all exams are taken at the test centre that contributes to the elimination of corruption in the institute.
The representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan has informed the participants on ways to detect and prevent corruption offenses, the interaction with civil society in this direction, the improvement of legislation and normative-legal acts, etc. They also stressed the importance of public awareness of dangers of corruption and improvement of legal culture of society, especially the youth.
The teachers and students offered to the guests their suggestions for the elimination of corruption phenomena in our society and got answers to their numerous questions.
