Familiarization with the abroad education system
At the next meeting of the student scientific circle of Financial Economy and Taxation faculty the participant of exchange students’ program – the 4th year student of FEIT Malika Rajabova made a presentation about her training in the Eastern Mediterranean University in Cyprus (EMU).
The Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan and Eastern Mediterranean University signed a cooperation agreement. Under this agreement Malika as a participant of the program for the exchange students studied for one semester at the Banking and Finance Faculty (BS) of this University. She shared her impressions about visiting abroad. She told to the members of the circle about the education system in Cyprus and the conditions of education in the EMU.
According to the video, there are over 16,000 students from 32 countries in Eastern Mediterranean University. More than 100 students from Tajikistan study at this prestigious university.
Malika noted that teaching in the EMU is in English, there is an excellent library in the university (which works 24 hours), modern classrooms, computer labs with Internet access. All necessary conditions created for the successful training of students. One of the priorities for the university is to strengthen the communication between teachers and students. Malika said: «Separation from family and homeland was not easy, but love for the Motherland gave me strength and there I realized the true value of native land». She encouraged her coevals to effectively use the time, take more initiative, to participate in educational programs, to study foreign languages.
In the final part of the circle Dean of the Finance Economy and Taxation faculty, Hurshed Davlatov noted that such events allow students to become familiar with the education system in foreign countries, to become participants of the various educational programs, to develop thinking, empower new knowledge.
