Courses on border security

On October 5- 30, 2015 in Dushanbe under the auspices of OSCE was held a regular XIV training of management staff to ensure border security. These courses attended by the heads and staff of the border and customs services of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Estonia, Macedonia and Moldova. Along with government security forces on these courses for the first time among institutions was also invited our Institute – the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan.

The Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with the OSCE Border College, including the participation of teachers and students in various courses. This year our Institute was represented by lecturer of the Customs department Davlatova Tojiniso Safaralievna. After the training she got certificate.

During the course, experienced experts from Poland, Great Britain and other European countries held classes with the participants, introduced the staff of border services with modern means and methods of ensuring border security. On October 30, 2015 the solemn closing ceremony of the courses and issue certificates to participants was held.

Senior representatives of the Department of Border Troops of the National Security Committee, the Customs Service, the Agency for Drug Control under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the embassies of Afghanistan, Ukraine, the United States, as well as the rector of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan A. Solehzoda, Vice - rector for External Relations B. Safarov, Dean of  International Economic Relations Faculty N. Popov and Head of the Customs department of institute K. Mirakov was attended at the closing ceremony.

A. Solehzoda in his speech noted the effectiveness and usefulness of such courses and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the OSCE and foreign experts for mutually beneficial cooperation.
