Solemn celebration of National Flag Day

Solemn celebration of the National Flag Day is a kind of expression of respect for national shrines. The national flag of the Republic of Tajikistan as well as the Emblem and the National anthem are the symbols of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. On November 24 the solemn meeting was held at Institute. The rector of the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan Ashurboy Solehzoda said in his congratulatory speech that the national flag is the symbol of unity, represents the nation and the state, is a source of national pride, represents peace and harmony on our land, expresses the policy of the Government.  
The Rector also noted that every state in the modern world represents itself by its national flag. The National Flag represents the national sovereignty of the state, its originality and identity. Seeing the National Flag and raising it in the various activities awakens in a man a sense of patriotism and pride for their country. The National Flag of Tajikistan symbolizes peaceful life and unity of the people, prosperity of the country and confidence of the people in a stable future. Our national flag, expressing the moral purity and spiritual identity of the people, our ancient traditions, is a symbol of excellence, the embodiment of happiness and virtue. The National Flag, giving each of us the strength and inspiration, inspires us to new victories and achievements, - A. Solehzoda concluded his speech.
Then, the Rector of the institute recommended to the curators of academic groups to explain the essence and meaning of the State flag and the Regulation on the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan to the students in the educational hours. 
The reports of associate professor of the Humanities Department Muhsin Sharifov on theme «The Flag is the State Symbol» and the 3rd  year student of the Accounting and Statistics Faculty Khilola Shukurova on theme «The Flag is a Symbol of Honor and Patriotism» were heard at the meeting.
The speakers noted that the flag for Tajik people is a symbol of statehood since ancient times. Our national flag, with an ancient history, has always expressed the unity of the people, unquenchable will to the victory and achievements, hardworking and openness of our people.
As in the past, and in the modern era, each state has its own symbols, which express its political autonomy and independence, the history of formation and development, national identity.
At the artistic part of the event the students recited poems praising the State Flag and other national symbols.
