FEIT was presented

Today, on December 2, the International scientific-practical conference «Improving the Efficiency of Public Financial Management (PFM) and its Impact on Sustainable Economic Development in Tajikistan» continued its work at the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan.
In the section «Development of FEIT – the direction of an activity of  Think Tank of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan», the Rector of the Institute Ashurboy Solehzoda presented the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan, in his presentation, he spoke in detail the aims, tasks and the direction of the activity of the Institute. As A. Solehzoda noted FEIT achieves leadership on a global level in the field of training highly qualified specialists in finance and economics. For the four years of activity in accordance with the requirements of the international labor market the institute has increased the number of specialties from 24 to 37.
It was also informed that from September 2017 at the Master degree department in FEIT will be course on «Public Financial Management», where the workers of the local financial agencies can study. Master's graduates will have knowledge and skills on effective planning and forecasting budget incomes, domestic and international accounting standards.

Vice-rector on scientific work of FEIT Giyosidin Ashurov in his presentation spoke about the new training methods, aims and directions of activity of the Think Tank as the guarantor of the education quality. He noted that several lecturers of FEIT have been trained in the Think Tank on macroeconomics, public finance management and the research methodology. At the moment they are working on developing ideas on specific problems of the economy.
Bahrom Safarov – vice-rector on International Relations of FEIT presented the activity of Professional development center at FEIT.
The Head of the Research Institute «Finance» at FEIT Manzura Koshonova spoke in her presentation about the aims and activities of the Institute.
The head of the Innovation and Technology Park of FEIT Faridullo Ubaidulloev made a presentation about the activity and plans of the Innovation and Technology Park.

Then the Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Policy named after Gaidar, Sergei Prihodko made a speech. He spoke about the directions of the activity of this institute. As S. Prihodko noted that the range of activities of the Institute for Economic Policy named after E. T. Gaidar is very wide. It consists of research, information and publishing, scientific and methodological activities, numerous seminars and conferences are conducted at the Institute. As S. Prihodko noted the research activity of the Institute is aimed at studying the problems of budget policy, innovation policy, agricultural economics, public finance management, etc.

During the conference, between the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration of Russia under the Russian President (RANEPA), Economic Policy Institute named after E.T. Gaidar and Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan was signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of scientific-pedagogical and educational and methodical activities.
In the afternoon, the conference continued its work. There were heard and discussed 26 scientific reports. The topic of the reports consisted of the consideration of the problems of the comparative analysis and improvement of the tax system in the Republic of Tajikistan, the methodological basis of the analysis of regional development, the problems of public internal financial control in the government structures were discussed at the conference. The mechanisms of regulation of inflation were considered. There were the debates around the discussed problems.
On the results of the international conference the recommendations and suggestions will be provided to the relevant government agencies and ministries.
