FEIT entered to the «Network Institute»

From May 21 to May 28, 2017 a meeting of the scientific and educational consortium «Network Institute in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and financing of terrorism (AML / CFT) » was held in Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan, where the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan was admitted to membership of this organization. Vice-rector for International Relations of FEIT Bahrom Safarov took part at the meeting.
On May 24, the ceremony of the adoption of the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan in this scientific and educational consortium took place. The assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on legal issues Vatanzoda Makhmadali Mahmadullo and the representatives of 32 institutions of the CIS member states took part in the ceremony.
The representative of FEIT Bakhrom Safarov received the detailed information on the structure and activities of the Network Institute in the field of AML / CFT. Today the Network Institute in the field of AML / CFT is a modern scientific and educational consortium that unites universities, scientific and educational centers of the CIS member states, its activities are aimed at integrating science, improving national AML / CFT legislation, conducting fundamental research in the field of AML / CFT / FT, training of staff and university professors in the field of AML / CFT, exchange of students, educational and methodological support, organization of international events, etc. During a business trip Bakhrom Safarov also participated as a representative of the Republic of Tajikistan in the regular meeting of the Eurasian Group on Countering the Legalization of Criminal Incomes and the Financing of Terrorism.
It should be noted that the FEIT cooperates with a number of educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, in this regard, Safarov B.G. met with the representatives of one of them - the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin. The representatives of universities talked about the development of cooperation.
