HIV/AIDS and its risk
On November 27, 2017 at the initiative of the medical center of the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan, an educational event was held at the institute dedicated to the International AIDS Day, which is celebrated annually on December 1 in the country.
The event was opened by Vice-Rector for Economic and Administrative-Economic Affairs of FEIT Badriddin Muzaffarov who noted the importance of holding such events in the prevention of the spread of HIV / AIDS among youth.
The representatives of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan Elena Lyapina, Parvina Bodurova, Larisa Karimova, Saidbek Isoev, Abdurauf Abduvaliev gave information about the Society, its aims and tasks. It was noted that such events took place in six universities in the capital.
The medical worker of FEIT M. Hakimova and the representative of the Dushanbe Center for AIDS Prevention and Control S. Nabieva in their speeches noted the relevance and importance of the problem of HIV / AIDS, as well as the ways of spreading the disease. Unfortunately, according to official data more than 7,000 people have AIDS in Tajikistan.
The students living in the hostel № 2 performed a scene on AIDS prevention. Also, the participants of the event watched an interesting concert program prepared by the volunteers of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan.
After watching educational videos for students, a quiz was organized. The winners of the quiz were awarded by memorable gifts and souvenirs.
