Every year on September 1, on the initiative of the Founder of the Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the Day of Knowledge is celebrated throughout the country, the peace lessons are held in all schools and institutions of Tajikistan. This again shows that the Head of State and the Government pay special attention to the development of education and science. Thanks to the reforms and implementation of state programs in the sphere of education and science, our country has achieved a planned and effective process of modernization of the education system. The education system is one of the main directions of the state's social policy, the economic development of the country and the welfare of the population depend on the level of development of education and science. Today, our education system is characterized by a developed network and a variety of educational institutions, rich traditions, actively undergoing modernization processes in recent years, and significant participation of the population in education.
The world experience shows that the main resource of any country is an intellectual resource. The future of the country depends on how effectively the national education system will be able to create intellectual potential as a basis for developing the abilities of the majority of citizens and for ensuring their well-being. The issues of the development of education and science in the era of innovations in the field of technology are of particular importance.
The modern specialist should possess not only professional skills, but also deep knowledge in the sphere of innovations, have a broad outlook, possess modern technologies, have access to wide information flows, and be proactive.
Dear students, as the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, notes in his speeches, the knowledge and skills for the youth serve as primary capital. The student years are the best time in a person's life, you should use your time effectively, direct all efforts to acquire knowledge and skills, strive to achieve a high level and worthy represent the country on the international arena.
The staff of our university, in response to the constant support of the Government and especially the Head of State, will strive for continuous improvement of the quality of education, to achieve significant results in the training of highly qualified personnel meeting the requirements of the modern international labor market.
I am sure that by joint efforts we will achieve success and multiply our achievements in the transformation of our university into one of the most priority educational institutions of the country.
