Konb4000.jpgIt should be noted that today the Russian Federation is the main partner of Tajikistan in the field of investment. Since 2008, the Russian Federation has been the leading trade and economic partner of Tajikistan.
In 2006, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation was opened in Tajikistan. In 2017, trade turnover between our countries amounted to more than 900 million US dollars. Over the past 8 months, the turnover of goods has increased by 35%, including the export of cotton to Russia - by 16%, vegetables and fruits - by 14%. Oil products and vehicles are imported from Russia to Tajikistan.
Today, the most important direction of economic cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan, which has an impact both on the economy of the republic and on the integration processes in the region, is undoubtedly the investment of direct Russian investments in the economy of the country. They are invested in such industries as energy, industry, mining and metallurgy, construction, aviation, railway, high technology, agriculture, etc.
Mutually beneficial relations of Tajikistan and Russia are aimed at integration, economic rapprochement, socio-economic development of two countries, an increase in trade turnover, and an improvement in the quality of life of the population.
Interstate trade is the main direction of foreign economic relations of countries. The preparation and implementation of joint investment projects in the sphere of the economy of Tajikistan, the expansion of the geography of interregional relations, the timely implementation of decisions made by the Intergovernmental Commission, determine the economic development of the country.
