Glorification of President's Day

On November 14, 2018 a solemn event was held at the Tajik State Finance and Economics University, dedicated to the President's Day and the commissioning of the first unit of the Rogun hydropower plant with the participation of students, teachers, representatives of ministries and institutions of the country.
The ceremonial meeting was opened by the Rector of TSFEU Khairzoda Shukrullo Kurbonali, who congratulated the audience on the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the launch of the first unit of the Rogun hydropower plant. Highlighting the historical significance of the launch of the Rogun hydropower plant, Khayrzoda Sh.K. noted that this event was made possible thanks to the efforts of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, who led the country on a peaceful course. The wise and far-sighted policy of the President of the country led Tajikistan out of the war, the people rallied around the Leader of the Nation, the territorial integrity of the country was preserved. In a short time, peace and harmony were established in Tajikistan. The transformation began in all spheres of life.
- Over 27 years of state independence, overcoming difficulties and obstacles, unprecedented success was achieved towards implementing economic and social reforms. In a relatively short period, the country has achieved sustainable economic development. Ensuring energy independence, bringing the country out of the communication impasse, raising the level of people's well-being has become the main direction of our country's strategic policy. Thanks to the leadership qualities and efforts of the Leader of the Nation, our country today looks to the future with confidence, noted the rector of TSFEU Khairzoda Sh.K.
The celebration of President’s Day is a sign of respect for the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The use of the peacekeeping experience of Tajikistan by other countries speaks about the world recognition of our President, - the rector summed up his speech.
Then, the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Nurmuhamadien made a speech  before the university staff and guests, who on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan congratulated the audience on significant dates. He noted that the Rogun hydropower plant plays an important role for the life of the entire region. At the initiative of the Leader of the Nation, the construction of the Rogun HPP was resumed. The launch of the first unit of hydropower plant has great economic and social importance, as cheap electricity will be produced, many jobs created, and interregional and international ties will expand in the field of electricity imports. 
The global importance of the Rogun hydropower plant lies in the fact that the capacity of the new hydropower plant will be enough not only to fully meet the needs of Tajikistan itself, but the entire region will be provided with environmentally clean electricity. Thus, the launch of the Rogun hydropower plant will bring to Tajikistan the status of the largest regional exporter of electricity, - noted Jamshed Nurmuhammadiyen.
During the ceremonial meeting, a number of active workers of TSFEU, including Murodov Dilovarsho, Maksudshoeva Zuhaili and Safarov Ilhom were awarded the Certificate of Honor of the university.
In honor of President's Day, a small football competition among teachers was organized at the university to win the Cup of the Rector of TSFEU, which was held from 1 to 13 November. 8 teams took part at the competition. The winners were awarded with memorable prizes. Thus, the Diploma of the 1 category, a Rector's Cup and a prize of 1500 somoni won the university management team, the Diploma of the 2 category and a prize of 1000 somoni was won by a team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, a team of the Accounting and Statistics Faculty won a 3 category diploma and a prize of 500 somoni 
In the final part of the event, the amateur ensemble of the university «Javoni» gave an interesting concert program. The participants of the concert performed songs and poems praising Tajikistan and the Leader of the Nation, they glorified the youth and beauty of their native land.
