«Horizons of Independence» - guide of the nation

On January 23, 2019, a presentation of the book «Horizons of Independence» by the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was held at the Tajik State Finance and Economics University. During the event, the most important provisions of the new book by the Head of State were outlined. 
The Rector of TSFEU Shukrullo Khairzoda opened the event. He noted that the explanation and the full support of the patriotic and humanistic ideas and initiatives of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon among representatives of science and culture is one of the main activities of the University. Shukrullo Khairzoda in a speech noted that a new book by the Leader of the Nation is the logical continuation of the research of dear Emomali Rahmon in the direction of national identity and the implementation of the national aspirations of the Tajiks. It can be regarded as an important and unique scientific, political and socio-economic work.
«The works of the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, are based on highly moral ideas and are perceived as a guide for present and future generations. Each page of the «Horizons of Independence» displays the history of the struggle of the Tajik people under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation. Undoubtedly, this informative book will further strengthen the national identity, patriotism, pride for our beloved Homeland – Tajikistan» - said Shukrullo Khairzoda. 
The lecturers of the university K. Sharipov, D. Hojaev and M. Mahimov also made a speech on the significance of the new book by the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmont «Horizons of Independence» in the development of national and political identity of young people.
It was noted that the informative book of the Head of state «Horizons of Independence» tells about the historical process of formation of national statehood, about the achievements, victories and successes of our country. The Leader of the Nation in his new book, which is a logical continuation of his research, examines the political and social evolution of the nation. 
For example, in the preface of the book, the author notes: «...When it comes to state independence, this does not mean that the Tajiks first gained statehood, on the contrary, it is that the national statehood of the Tajiks revived. Therefore, when we talk about the past and the present day of our people and state, we use capacious expressions – «ancient nation» and «young state», as they accurately reflect our destiny and our future".
The first chapter of the book is called «State Independence - the Stage of Revival and Restoration of the National State of Tajiks». It describes how the national state was gradually revived and strengthened.
The second chapter is entitled «Economic Development of Tajikistan and its Strategic Perspective». In this chapter, much attention is paid to economic problems and the ways to solve them.
The third chapter provides an analysis of social policy and its results. In this chapter, the Leader of the Nation sets out in detail his thoughts on the achievements of science, education, health, as well as issues of migration and its regulation.
The fourth chapter is devoted to the strengthening of national unity and political stability, which is the basis of the internal policy of the state. In this chapter, the Leader of the Nation discusses the culture, the state language, the state administration of the period of independence, the role of women in society, freedom of conscience, the ordering of national traditions, freedom of speech, the development of the national press, national security.
The fifth chapter is devoted to the issues of national interests and foreign policy, the place of Tajikistan in the modern world community.
In the afterword, dear Emomali Rahmon, pointing to the bright future of our country, writes: «Now the transition period is over, and the Republic of Tajikistan has embarked on the path of sustainable development. Of course, at this stage we will face serious difficulties, but nevertheless, we have all the conditions and opportunities for steady progress. It is also important that starting a new crucial stage, we rely on the trust and firm will of the glorious people of Tajikistan».
It should be noted that the book «Horizons of sovereignty» is intended for political scientists, historians, researchers and experts of political, economic, social, international issues, journalists and a wide range of readers.
In the final part of the event, the rector of TSFEU Sh. Khairzoda, again noting the importance of the book, noted that this book, as the guide of the nation, must serve for each of us a Handbook.
