Analysis of the TSFEU Activities with the Participation of Journalists

On February 4, 2019 a press conference was held at the press center of the NIAT «Khovar», at which the administration of the Tajik State Finance and Economics University reported to journalists about the work that was done in 2018. 
Rector of the University Shukrullo Khairzoda noted that the Tajik State Finance and Economics University in 2018 won the fourth place in the rating of higher educational institutions of the country, entered the top five universities of the Republic, which is a great achievement for the staff of the university. The 4th year student of TSFEU Albina Kukanbekova took third place in the Republican contest «Student of the year 2018» is the result of the effective work, both administration and teaching staff of the university. 
At the moment, there is a fruitful work aimed at improving and modernizing the educational process, improving research activities, compliance with international standards of education and the transition to full electronic management of the university. 
Reporting on the results of student admission in 2018, Sh. Khairzoda noted that 41 300 students who applied to the National Test Center, chose Tajik State Finance and Economics University as the intended of the university to continue training (in this direction TSFEU among universities in the country took the sixth place). In the 2018-2019 academic year, the student admission plan was implemented by 96.6 percent, which exceeds this figure last year by 2.5 percent.  
The results and research activities of teachers are tangible. So, in 2018, 13 teachers of TSFEU defended a thesis for the degree of candidate of sciences. The rector of TSFEU noted that the University administration fully supports teachers who presented their thesis to the defense outside the country. 
It was noted that in 2018 the Tajik State Finance and Economics University signed an agreement on cooperation with 20 higher educational institutions and foreign non-governmental organizations. At this time, 261 foreign students study at TSFEU.
Khairzoda Sh. K. noted that during the reporting period, two professors from the Republic of Uzbekistan as «invited» professors gave lectures to students of TSFEU in turn professors of the Tajik State Finance and Economics University Kandiyorova D. O. and Bozorov Sh. Sh. were invited to give lectures in the universities of neighboring state.
A lot of work has been done to improve the building and strengthen its material and technical base. Thus, in 2018, a new educational building was put into operation, where the university departments, test center, publications department, medical center were placed; the educational building №3 was repaired; the state flag of the Republic of Tajikistan was hoisted on the territory of the University, the length of which is 21 meters; the territory of Navbahor and university was fenced. 
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the administration of TSFEU plans to Commission a new educational building, the plan of which has already been approved. In the coming days will begin its construction.
Rector of the Tajik State Finance and Economics University Sh.Khairzoda gave the journalists the detailed information about the educational, scientific, methodological, research, educational and international activities of the university.  The tasks for the next year were outlined. 
In the final part of the event an exhaustive answer was given to the questions of journalists of TV «Safina», the newspaper «Jumkutiyat», «Narodnaya Gazeta», «Halk ovozi», «Sadoi mardum» and the magazine «Ilm va Hayot».
