Celebrations dedicated to the Navruz holiday in TSFEU

On March 16, at the Tajik State Finance and Economics University the brightest holiday of the year-the International day Navruz was widely celebrated. The students, teachers, university staff and guests took part at the event.
The teachers and students of six faculties of the university, as well as employees of the Department for the preparation of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel held various competitions within the framework of festive events. Each faculty organized a special place where festive tables «haft sin», «haft shin» and «haft mim» were laid, exhibitions of folk crafts, showing the national clothes, clothes of the bride and groom of different regions of the country were organized. The administration of the university and the members of the jury appreciated the competitive exhibition of the faculties. 
Festive corners, organized by the faculties, were distinguished by its brilliance and richness.  The students of the Management and Economic Law faculty presented to the participants of the event a dramatization in English, telling about the tourist sites of Tajikistan. The students of the Accounting and Statistics faculty exhibited jewelry made by students. There were also organized a competition for tug of war and national wrestling among the teachers of the university, a cockfight and a competition of readers. The students of the Economics and Business faculty met the members of the jury with a fascinating male dance, and the teacher Murodali Mahimov were singing falak song.

The festive place, decorated by the students of the International Economic Relations faculty was distinguished by its originality. The guests were met by children and buffoons. Into the corner, decorated by the students of the faculty, it was possible to get through the seven hanging suzane. Foreign students study at this faculty. Turkmen and uzbek students organized their corners. Foreign students presented their exhibition and welcomed the guests in their native language. Turkmen students demonstrated a beautiful national dance, and Uzbek students laid the national holiday dastarkhan. 
In the framework of the recitation contest, young men were singing about the beauty of spring and girls and gave flowers to the girls. The girls met the guests by reciting the poems in English language. They played doira and sang songs. 
The exhibition organized by the students of the Finance and credit faculty was also attractive. A significant part of the corner of the faculty was a specially equipped for the holiday layout of the ancient city. There was a Royal throne in the center, on which king Jamshed was sitting. According to the scenario, the king, congratulating the guests on the Spring holiday, released all the slaves in honor of the spring, and the astrologer predicted a bright future for Tajikistan.
The sketches on the festive theme were very attractive, an exhibition of fruits and vegetables, wheat germ were exhibited for decoration. In the other corner was exposed to folk arts and crafts, including jewelry, wood carvings, products of embroidery, carpets etc.  At the exhibition the student baked a national bread in the tandur and handed out to the guests. 
The master students of the university also took part in festive events with a colorful and interesting program. They met the guests with cheerful dances and songs, organized a place of archaeological finds, laid a festive table according to ancient traditions (haftsin, haftshin, haftmim).
The teachers and students of the Information Technology in the Economy faculty welcomed the guests with bread and salt, offered products of national cuisine, the girls of the faculty prepared sumanak, which symbolizes the onset of spring. 
We can say that all the faculties and departments of TSFEU met Navruz in conformity with tradition, overflowing with joy, light and warmth.
The solemn part of the event was held on the sports ground of the university. The rector of the university Shukrullo Khairzoda opened it with congratulatory speech. Congratulating the people with the onset of spring, he noted that Navruz is a symbol of new life, peace and harmony in our land. On the Holiday Eve, all people carefully clean their homes, throw away unnecessary things, put up with enemies, forgive debts, repent of their sins. 
Sh. Khairzoda in the final part of his speech noted that Navruz, symbolizing the unity of the people, will further strengthen peace and quiet on our ancient land. Let it brings wealth and prosperity to the house of each of us.
A number of teachers and university staff in honor of the Navruz holiday and for the effective professional activity were awarded certificates and memorable gifts, including: Head of publications Sadullo Nasirov, Head of Monitoring and Education Quality Rajabali Kholboboev, associate Professor of Humanities Department Kutbiya Homidova, Head of the Security Department Jamshed Kalakov.  

The winners of the competition for the Cup of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan A. Fayzov, P. Dodikhudoev, S. Kombarov, S. Mahmadaliev in a solemn ceremony were awarded diplomas and certificates of honor of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan
In the artistic part of the event the students of the university showed a rich concert program. The songs sung by Juramurodi Mukhammadnazar, gave the event a colorful and emotional atmosphere. Especially the audience liked the humorous performances, telling about real life. Akram Mirzoev, who skillfully sang the song «Bakhoria» was highly appreciated.
The festive event dedicated to the spring Navruz holiday, once again demonstrated the unity of the people and the revival of our ancient traditions.
