Dear compatriots!

For civilized Tajik nation, the flag is a symbol of loyalty, patriotism, courage and a means of uniting society. Under the national flag and under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, we are taking steady steps towards a bright future. Since the adoption of the national flag, our nation has raised this symbol of statehood with love and devotion to the Motherland and the nation, by uniting all segments of society around it. The national flag enhances the sense of patriotism and national pride and raises hopes in the hearts of the people for a brighter future. 
Throughout the centuries, our ancient nation has used the flag as a symbol of resistance and struggle for freedom and independence, and has achieved great victories. The tradition of our flag - Tajiks is an example for all peoples of the world. In the history of its development, our people have always been a standard-bearer, and Derafsh Kaviani will always remain dear and sacred to us.
The people of the country have not forgotten that our national flag was adopted and approved in the most difficult historical situation during the civil war. The flag, approved in difficult conditions, became a beacon of hope for our suffering people, gave them new strength and power. This flag laid a solid foundation for uniting the healthy forces of the country and strengthening their national feelings.
The state flag of the Republic of Tajikistan is a symbol of national statehood, devotion to the Motherland, patriotic honor and dignity, national identity and unity. Nowadays our proud people are united around this sacred national symbol, and await a bright future.
