Participation of TSUFE in the National Race

On May 16 of this year, the National Race Day was held in the Republic, which was organized on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and the President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan. In Dushanbe city, more than 43,000 people took part in the race. The purpose of the mass race is to promote a healthy lifestyle and attract as many residents of the country as possible to it. Traditionally, the race began with the entrance to the city in the town of Chorbog, Varzob region, and ended near the capital “Navruzgoh”. The length of the marathon was 10 kilometers.
This event was also actively attended by the leadership, teachers and students of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economic. The number of participants from TSUFE was 2000 people. It should be noted that the university pays special attention to the implementation of decrees and instructions of the Head of State aimed at the development of sports and physical culture. Thus, the university has a club of athletes, a member of which is a large number of students. Every year students and teachers of TSUFE, who are professionally involved in sports, participate in republican and international competitions. According to the results of these competitions, they are awarded by prizes. The national run was organized in order to fulfill the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 28, 2007 No. 255 "About National Race Day" and the instructions of the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 12, 2021, No. 26 / 10-17, the event is aimed at the development of sports and its popularity among the population throughout the country, more than 295,000 people took an active part in it.
