Call for political vigilance
Today, joint talks and meetings of the employees of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan with teachers and students of Higher Education Institutions of the city of Dushanbe are being held in order to strengthen the legal knowledge of citizens, prevent law violations and crimes among young people and eliminate the factors contributing to it in the society. Such a meeting was held on October 25 of this year with the participation of Iskandar Rakhmatov, a representative of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan with the students of TSUFE. Firstly, B. Kodirova, the vice-rector for educational work of the TSUFE opened the meeting and emphasized the urgency of the topic and the need to inform students about terrorist and extremist actions.
During his speech, I. Rakhmatov mentioned that at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, humanity faced a serious danger, such as extremism and terrorism, which threatens the survival of people and the world. Of course, those who say that extremism and terrorism are phenomena that have accompanied humanity throughout history are not unreasonable. For this reason, we must be vigilant, unite around the Head of State and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and raise our self-awareness and national pride.
Then, Abdullo Davlatzoda, the head of the educational works department, noted that terrorism is one of the ways of implementation and methods of political struggle by using scary ideas and intimidation by means of threats, aggression and violence in order to arouse fear and panic among people. The purpose of this cruel act is to achieve its final goal, to destabilize the political situation, to incite contradictions among the sections of the society, to lower the state's reputation, to create chaos, and at the same time to cause trouble in diplomatic relations between other countries. Therefore, it is necessary for students not to lose their political vigilance and to have a firm position regarding this undesirable phenomenon.
In the end of the meeting there were presented questions on the topic by teachers and students and the answers made the meeting more completely.
