Second place among 62 libraries

It is a matter of pride and award that the Scientific Library of TSUFE won the second place among 62 libraries of the republic in the contest of the best library, which is the highest indicator.
According to the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon in order to raise and strengthen the activities and motivation of employees of various professions, to hold sectoral contests in three nominations, it was held the republican contest "Librarian of the Year, Library of the Year and Private library of the year in the Republic for 2021-2022".
The contest was concluded on November 4 of this year in the hall of the State Library of the State Institution "National Patent and Information Center" of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan. According to the "Library of the Year" nomination, the Scientific Library of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics took part in this competition and won the second place among 62 libraries. Gadobek Mahmudov, the deputy director of the National Library of Tajikistan, solemnly presented the award and diploma to Abdulqayum Yunusov - the director of the Scientific Library of the university.
It should be noted that today 2 senior librarians, 3 librarians, 1 bibliologist and 1 chief specialist of the electronic library serve customers in the Scientific Library of the university. Currently, the Scientific Library of the university has an open-air reading room with seating for 200 people, and the total collection of books is 113,000 copies. Also, 870 thousand electronic books are at the service of those who are thirsty for science and knowledge.
