The meeting to respect the State flag

"In the modern world, the State Flag is a sign of independence, one of the main symbols of Statehood and National unity, that is, the modern state is represented by its flag." This point was emphasized in the speech of the rector of TSUFE Hakimbek Abdualimzoda during the celebration of the National Flag Day on November 23rd. First of all, the rector congratulated the people of the hall on this important date and noted that the flag is the passport of any country and others recognize the country by it.
- The State Flag is a symbol of the survival of the nation, the state, national unity and identity and one of the best means of educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, pride in their nation and protection of the high historical and cultural values of our people - said the rector.
Turning to the history of flag-making of the Tajik people, the speaker added that the flag and flag-making have an interesting and long history in the history of civilization and the ancient culture of Tajik Statehood. He reminded of the shape of the flag of Kova Ohangar, the flag of the Soviet period and the period of Independence. At the same time, interpreting the colors of the National Flag, he said that the red color is a symbol of the people's struggle for freedom and independence, the white color is a sign of happiness, hope and dreams, and the green color is a sign of prosperity, pride, glory and eternity. The image of the crown and seven akhtars (stars) is a reference to the historical roots of the Statehood of Independent Tajikistan, the rector emphasized.
- Each of us should unite under the National Flag and strive for prosperity of our land - Tajikistan, - Abdualimzoda H. said in summary.
Then, the Republican competition of students of Higher Education Institutions under the title "The best knower of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan" was concluded, and the winners were awarded with diplomas, prizes and certificates of honor.
At the same time, several achievements obtained by teachers and students at the national and international level, their presentation and owners were recognized with the Honorary Certificate and Diplomas of TSUFE, such as Yunusov A., - the director of the Scientific Library of the university, for getting the second place in the Republican competition "The Best library of the year", Pirimova Sh. - 4th year-student of the faculty of Accounting and statistics, for getting the third place in the City round competition “The book is the light of wisdom morning”  with a diploma and money prize, Kurbanov S., - the student of the university for taking the first place in the Asian championship on weightlifting. Artists of the Cultural department of the university - T. Qurbanov, G. Muhammadieva, D. Sharipov, Munisai Hamrokhon were awarded with the Honorary Diploma of the university for their effective cultural activities.
Further, Gulchehra Murodova, the Head of the Department of Law and International relations of Kulob State University named after A. Rudaki, expressed her gratitude to the Administration of TSUFE for organizing the Competition "The best knower of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan" and called it effective for strengthening the legal knowledge of students.

In the end, an interesting cultural program was presented for the entertainment of the attendees, which included patriotic dances and songs and a comic scene from the life of the students, which helped to expand the national self-awareness of the participants.
