2022 year was a historic and memorable year for TSUFE

On December 30, 2022, it was held a large extraordinary meeting of the Academic Council at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, which was attended by professors, teachers and university employees.
According to the agenda of the meeting, first of all, it was heard the report of the rector of the university, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek Abdualim, - the report on the results of TSUFE activity in 2022 and tasks for 2023, which included the activities of all aspects of the university during the reporting year.
The rector spoke in detail about the results of the University's one-year activity, set the tasks for 2023 and assigned the officials of the relevant fields. In his speech all the aspects of the activities of the structures were comprehensively analyzed and interesting opinions were expressed regarding improvement in educational and methodical, scientific, educational, international relations, financial and economic activities.
At first, the rector spoke about the achievements of the past year and expressed it:
- The 2022 year will be marked in the minds of our dear people by faithful and honest efforts for the prosperity of our sovereign Motherland, the realization of good and constructive goals and new achievements. This year was also successful, memorable and historic for professors, teachers, university employees and students of TSUFE. For the first time in the history of this Higher Professional Education Institution of the republic, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon visited our university and we all welcomed this important event. It was put into use a five-story educational building for 3,500 students, with 66 spacious lecture halls, including Laboratory of the Chair of Customs Activities, the Laboratory of the Digital Economy, the Center of the Educational Bank and the Department of Monitoring and Management of the Quality of Education, 25 studies, 4 conference rooms, lecture halls, the Dissertation Council and other auxiliary facilities. It should be recognized that in the past year, the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics achieved many scientific achievements.
It is a matter of pride that this year teachers, students and graduate students won prestigious places such as: Mikhail Leonidovych Panyavin - 1st year master's student by specialty of finance and credit won the second place in the nomination of "Information Technologies" at the contest "Science is the source of knowledge";  Shahlo Pirimova - 4th year student of the Faculty of Accounting and Statistics won the third place in the nomination of “poetry and prose” in the City Round of the Republican contest “The book is the light of wisdom morning”.
At the same time, our students participated and took prominent places in the regional and city rounds of the contest “The book is the light of wisdom morning” and in international scientific Olympiads, which are the reason for the pride of our university. All these good and worthy results increase confidence in a good future and give new energy for further productive activities.
During the presentation of the report, the rector mentioned the best in all areas, who have shown significant results in carrying out scientific and research work, educational work, teaching activities and labor discipline, and called them an example for others.
In particular, futsal players of TSUFE won the first place in the final round of the National Futsal Competition, which was held among the sports teams of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the country.
It should be noted that the rating of institutions of Higher Professional Educational Institutions has been carried out by the instruction of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon since 2017 to improve the level and quality of education, the level of learning of students, the professional skills of lecturers and the implementation of innovations in the system of Higher Professional Education. Within 5 years TSUFE has kept its position stable and deserves the 4th place.
Along with the progress of labor activities, the rector also mentioned some shortcomings that hinder the development of the university, such as the low level of holding curatorial classes and participation in mutual training. It was noted the lack of work activity of some curators and the updating lectures of teachers as well and responsible persons were assigned for correction of these deficiencies.
The rector set a number of tasks for the 2023 year such as: conducting innovative projects on the digitalization of the educational process by the Laboratory of the Digital Economy; establishing branches of departments in some organizations and institutions; strengthening the publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals; conducting International institutional Accreditation of all specialties; organizing such competitions as "10 Best students" and "Khushsalyka" (Сourtesy) and similar ones, which put the foundation for the advancement of the university, the quality of education and the strengthening of scientific, research and educational work.
In summary, Nosirov S., Boboev J., and Safarov B. evaluated the participation and one-year activity of the university as satisfactory in the discussion and expressed satisfaction with the work done by the Administration of the University. At the same time, they offered specific opinions for the further progress of the activity.
After that, the rector of the university H. Abdualimzoda spoke about the appreciation and awarding of teachers and employees and announced the results of the competition held to determine the Best faculty, the Best Chair, the Best teacher and the Best curator of 2022.
Thus, the Best faculty was recognized the Faculty of Finance and Credit and was awarded with an electronic board and a prize of one thousand somoni. The Best Chair in the field of science – the Chair of Banking Activity, the Best Chair in the field of education – The Chair of Economic, Financial and Anti-corruption Law, the Best Chair in the field of education and international relations – The Chair of Digital Economy and Logistics were awarded with a prize of one thousand somoni each.
The Best teachers Madiev S., Mirakov Q., Buriyeva M., Faraidunov Q. were awarded with 500 somoni each. The Best curators - Urunboeva N., Shodiev K., Hamidov R. were awarded with 500 somoni each. There were awarded with prizes the winner of the Republican contest "Science is the source of knowledge "Panyavin M.L. and his supervisor Gafurov P., the winner of the Republican contest “The book is the light of wisdom morning” Sh. Pirimova and her supervisor Mashkhulov J., as well as Director of the Scientific Library of University Yunusov A.
At the same time, several other teachers and employees were presented with a prize in the amount of 500 somoni and a Certificate of Honor for the best achievements in 2022.
Simultaneously, the rector of the university, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek Abdualim was awarded the Honorary Degree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan for his contribution to the organization of the contest “The book is the light of wisdom morning”. It was handed over Honorary badge of Excellence in Education and Science of Tajikistan to professor Sh.M. Ismailov, D. Muradov, J. Boboev, A. Mirzoev, J. Qodirov. and Award of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan to Asoyeva B.
In the summary of the meeting the researchers, whose articles were published in Scopus magazines, were awarded in the amount of 500 somoni and those, whose dissertations were approved by the Higher Attestation Committee under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, were awarded in the amount of 5 thousand somoni. 92 technical workers will be given food products such as: flour, oil and rice. 6 employees of the Education Department and education advisors were given tickets to the "Khoja-obigarm" resort.
Bonuses were also given to futsal players and their coaches as well as winning athletes.
In conclusion, the rector of the university congratulated the participants of the hall on the arrival of the New 2023 Year and wished them present health, prosperous life and new achievements, and asked for them even more productive activities, new initiatives and responsibility in the new year.
