We have not to be indifferent to the fight against corruption

As part of the implementation of the TSUFE plans and activities on the implementation of the "Strategy of Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2030", the meetings are often held with representatives of the relevant authorities.
Such a scientific-practical seminar was held on 25th January of this year at the university on the topic "Finding modern ways and methods of combating corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan" with the participation of Shodkom Tursunzoda, the Head of the Anti-corruption Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the city of Dushanbe, the lieutenant colonel of justice and the employees of this department Umarali Shovalizoda and Nasim Shamsiddinzoda.
First of all, the Rector of TSUFE Hakimbek Abdualimzoda recalled the words of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, "one should not forget that the fight against corruption is not only a duty of law enforcement. All members of society, every citizen and civil society should not be indifferent to this struggle”, and added that we - teachers and students of the university were not and will not be indifferent here, because corruption is an undesirable manifestation of society and an obstacle to progress. In the university, explanatory work is always carried out among the labor team about the fight against corruption.
Then Shodkom Tursunzoda on the topic "Some issues of combating corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan", Jamrod Boboev, Head of the department of economic, financial and anti-corruption law of the university on the topic "Using the experience of developed countries in the direction of combating corruption" and Umedjon Sharipov, Head of the department of HR and Special affairs of TSUFE on the topic "The process of implementation of the State Strategy of Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 in TSUFE" made meaningful speeches.
It was said that the concept of "anti-corruption" is the activity of all state authorities which include to detect, prevent and eliminate the causes and conditions of the occurrence of corruption cases, to detect and combat corruption violations, to eliminate the undesirable consequences of corrupt acts and to ensure rights and freedoms, to increase the level of the lives of citizens, the development of the economy and ensuring the security of the country.
It was noted that up to now in the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to strengthen the issues of combating corruption, there have been proposed and adopted new normative legal acts in order to adapt them to the international anti-corruption standards, which will help to eradicate corrupt practices in the future.
