Studying the content of the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the meeting of the women's council

On the 31st of January of this year, it was held an extended meeting of the Council of women and female students of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, with participation of all women and female students of the university. At the meeting, there were discussed the issues of studying the content of the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Majlisi Oli, improving the activity of the Council in the period of 2023 and the activation of women and female students of the university in organizing events.
The meeting was opened by the vice-rector for educational affairs, Bunavshamoh Kadirova, who said that this year's Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Majlisi Oli recounts the successes of the 31 years of existence of National statehood and specifies its future path. In the Message, there were explained all issues of public life in detail, and were given the instructions for taking measures for effective and timely implementation of state goals. Expressing her opinion on the issue of women's support, the speaker said that women's policy in Tajikistan has a social and popular character and is in the center of attention of the country's government.
Regarding the second issue, Tahmina Umaraliyeva, the Head of the Council of women and female students of the university, reported on the activity of the Council in the period of 2022 and discussed the plan of the activity of the council for 2023 year. It was noted that in 2022 year 25 events were held in the institution by at the initiative of the council, which is a reflection of the effective activity of this institution.
She also said that in 2023, as part of the plan of activities of the Council, it will be held the university competition "Khushsaliqa" in the university, which is essentially aimed at the formation of a sense of beauty and creativity of women and female students.
“- In this context, we are trying to take effective measures to increase the position of women at the university and are bring the activity of the Council to a qualitatively new level. In order to achieve this goal in 2023 year, taking into account the opinions of the Board of the Council, an action plan consisting of 16 items covering 31 events has been developed and is presenting to this meeting for discussion and approval”. After the discussion, the work plan of the Council was approved.
During the meeting of the Council of women and female students of the university, Mavjuda Davlatova, the member of the Board of the Council, spoke and expressed her opinion on the issue of the inclusion of women and female students of the university in the events. She stated that in the current conditions, the issue of participation of women and female students in events needs to be seriously reviewed, and the time demands that the culture of participation of women and female students in such events should be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the time and by taking into account the national culture.
In the final part of the meeting, the participants expressed their views on the improvement of the work of the Council of Women and female Students, and demanded the improvement of its activities.
