Analysis of the problems of the banking system

Within the framework of the plan of scientific events, on March 11, 2023, on the initiative of the Department of Banking Activity of the Faculty of Finance and Credit of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, it was held a republican scientific-practical conference on the topic "Development of the banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan in modern conditions: problems of development and its solutions", in which there were thoroughly discussed a number of pressing issues of the banking system, including the stability of the banking system in the conditions of globalization, the development of the non-cash settlement system on the basis of modern virtual technologies, ways to increase the effectiveness of bank lending for national economic development, the vulnerability of the banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan in the conditions of economic imbalance, the critical issues of reducing the level of banking risks through modern banking services, increasing financial literacy on the basis of the infrastructure of innovative tools.
Specialists from commercial banks and other non-banking credit organizations participated in the work of the conference in order to comprehensively discuss the problems of the banking system and their solutions. Also, some specialists presented their reports on various aspects of the banking system, such as: Sharif Rahimzoda -professor of the Department of Banking Activity on the topic "Banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan: problems of development and its solutions", G.Gh. Salomzoda - deputy director of the Scientific and Research Institute of the National Bank on the topic "The challenge of raising the level of financial literacy in modern times", Sh.M. Mansurov-specialist of the Department of Analysis and Development of Digital Financial Services of the Payment Systems Management of the National Bank of Tajikistan on the topic "Development of the non-cash settlement system on the basis of modern virtual technology", Gufron Usmonov-doctoral student (PhD ) of the Department of Finance of TSUFE on the topic "Regulation of the exchange rate as a factor of activation of the economy".
It was said that the banking system, as a component of the market infrastructure, plays an important role in providing services in financial and monetary relations, thus making a significant contribution to the sustainable economic development of the country. The level of development of the banking system in most cases determines the level of development of the country's economy. From this position in modern economic science and practice, it is important to search for effective strategic models for the development of the banking system.
At the end, the representatives of the banks of Tajikistan visited the educational bank, which was put into use recently, and praised it for combining theory with practice.
