The Commencement of the Republican Contest "The Best Programmer"

The Commencement of the Republican Contest "The Best Programmer"

It is a matter of pride that the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics has become the center of holding Republican Contests and high-level events are held there. This time, on May 12 of this year, there was held the Republican Contest "Best Programmer" among the students of Higher Educational Institutions of the country at TSUFE. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukholiqzoda Lutfiya Abdukholiq participated and spoke at the opening ceremony of the contest.
The contest was opened by the rector of TSUFE, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek, who welcomed the guests, teachers and participants of the contest to the place of enlightenment.
Then Abdukholiqzoda Lutfiya expressed her satisfaction with the organization and holding of this contest and noted that since the 21st century is the age of information technologies, there is no field that has progressed without the use of information technologies. The Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon announced "Twenty years of study and development of natural, exact and mathematic sciences in the field of science and education" for the development of information technology and other natural sciences, which, of course, is not without reason. Because the study and development of these subjects is very necessary for future generations, and the implementation of the country's strategic goals depends on the development of these fields.
According to the analysis, IT specialists are currently being trained in 7 HEIs, but there is still a shortage of personnel in this direction in the republic. Therefore, we sent a request to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan to increase the number of budgetary positions for this specialty.
Abdukholiqzoda Lutfiya wished the participants good luck and emphasized that the winners are also encouraged in their HEIs and this is conducive to the development of their creative maturity.
Then the rector of TSUFE, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek, noted that it is the first time that the "Best Programmer" contest is held in our university and has gathered participants from 14 institutions of HEIs of the country. The contest is dedicated to the implementation of the State Program "Twenty years of study and development of natural, exact and mathematic sciences in the field of science and education" and to prepare students to participate in the national contest «Science-Lantern to enlightenment» and thereby increase the skill of using information technologies in the process of scientific and educational activity, finding new faces in the field of information technologies, developing the skills of using practical computer programs and implementing the provisions of the Digital Economy Concept in the Republic of Tajikistan and the formation of electronic government.
Scientific and technical progress makes life easier, more interesting, safer, more active, and practical computer programs play the main role in these achievements, in the implementation of which specialists in the field, that is, programmers, play an effective role. In this regard, the university decided to organize the "Best Programmer" contest among HEIs for the first time in the country, and to awaken the interest of students in information and communication technologies and find the best faces among them.
Holding such contests helps to strengthen the knowledge of students and lays the foundation for becoming a good specialist in this field, because in modern times, specialists in the field of information technologies, especially programmers, are needed for the implementation of digitization of individual sectors of the national economy according to state programs and strategies.
Then the contest was held in 2 nominations: programming and innovative projects. 26 students from 13 Higher Education Institutions of the country participated in this event. The contest is judged by a competent commission.
