The report of the rector of TSUFE is satisfactory

On June 26th of 2023 it was held a large extraordinary meeting of the Academic Council at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, which was attended by Askarali Barotov – representative of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, professors, teachers and university employees.
According to the agenda of the meeting, it was heard the report of the rector of the university, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek Abdualim, - the report on the results of TSUFE activity in 2022-2023 academic year, which included the activities of all aspects of the university during the reporting year.
First of all, the Rector sincerely congratulated the participants on the Day of National Unity and added that it was with the efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, that we achieved true unity and that is the foundation of all our achievements.
Then the rector spoke in detail about the results of the University's one-year activity, set the tasks for the next year and appointed the officials of the relevant fields. In his speech all the aspects of the activities of the structures were comprehensively analyzed and interesting opinions were expressed regarding improvement in the direction of educational and methodical, scientific, educational, international relations, financial and economic activities.
First, the rector talked about the achievements of the past year and said:
- During the reporting period, the employees and teachers of the university achieved significant success. This is, first of all, the opening of a new educational building in the university with the participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, which is a unique event in the history of the university. The 4th place in the rating of Higher Vocational Education Institutions of the republic, publication of 14 textbooks, defense of 3 doctoral theses and 22 candidate theses per year, opening of educational laboratories for Customs, Digital economy, 1C-accounting laboratory and the educational bank for combining theoretical knowledge with practice. At the same time, this year at the university, there were held four national level contests by the initiative of the specialized departments of the university and the Republican Olympiad among students of the country's HEIs under the title "The stem of the state cannot stand without stable education..." at a very high level, and our students showing the best results, they got prominent places and raised the name of the University.
This year 88 students graduated from our university with diploma of excellence which is considered the best achievement and it testifies to the high level of knowledge acquisition of students.
According to the words of the rector, the educational process at the university is based on the plans of educational standards, 22 doctors of science, 151 candidates of science and 200 senior teachers and assistants are involved in it. In order to conduct classes with high quality and in accordance with the requirements of modern times, 2300 pieces of modern information technology equipment have been installed in the university, which are used for the complete conduct of classes and will not leave an impact on the improvement of the quality of education.
Along with the progress of the labor activity, Abdualimzoda H. also mentioned some shortcomings and the responsible persons were made responsible for correcting the shortcomings.
H. Abdualimzoda set tasks in all directions, which are aimed at the advancement of work and the correction of obstacles. For example, in the field of teaching, he emphasized the revision of lectures, taking into account the professionalism of the lecturers, the effective use of electronic boards, and the proper implementation of student training. In the field of science, he gave specific instructions for applying theory in practice, improving the quality of scientific clubs, correct and timely editing of scientific articles, and timely publication of the scientific journal "Payomi moliya va iqtisod" (economic and financial bulletin). There were given instructions by the rector in the direction of international relations: attracting more teachers to investment projects and printing special promotional leaflets about the university for foreign students, preparing for the university's international accreditation, in the direction of educational work: revitalizing the activities of curators of academic groups, observing the recommended clothes by students and teachers to write responsive articles on hot issues of the day and so on.
During the meeting, Jurakhonzoda B., first vice rector, vice rector for study, F. Kodirov, vice rector for international relations, D. Khojazoda, dean of the Finance and Credit faculty and Mirsaidov A., Professor of the Department of Customs activity participated in debate, satisfactorily assessed the annual activities of the university and expressed satisfaction with the work done by the workforce of the university in various areas, and at the same time, offered specific ideas and opinions to promote further activities, improve the level and quality of education and other directions, which were able to be supported by the people of the hall and the Board of the Academic Council.
After that, the rector of the university, Abdualimzoda Kh. speaking about the appreciation and awarding of teachers and employees, he awarded the best ones with amount of money for their flawless achievements in work activities in the field of education, science, international relations, education, administrative and economic part.
In particular, the researchers whose scientific theses were approved by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and received diplomas, including Sodikov M., Abdulvakhidova F., Abdulloeva M., Akhmedov F., Kuzieva R., Latipova G., Isainova M., Oralboev H., Miraliev S., Saidahmadov F. were awarded 5 thousand somoni. 
The scientific supervisors of successful students who won competitions and Olympiads were awarded 1000 somoni.
A number of teachers and employees were awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the university and 500 somoni for their effective work.
At the same time, 8 women - winners of the university competition "Khushsalika" were presented with a Certificate of Honor and a dress made of satin fabric.
The head of the security department of the university, Jamshed Kalakov, was awarded with the celebratory medal of the Border troops of the State Committee of National Security.
In conclusion, the rector of the university wished the participants of the meeting a relaxing vacation and more productive work in the future.
