Honoring the flag is honoring the Nation

In honor of the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, on November 22 of this year, it was held a political and cultural event at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics entitled " The flag is the pinnacle of the wisdom of the power of free people!". It was by Zarina Faizullozoda, Head of the Executive committee of PDPT in Sino district, Behruz Isoev, representative of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan participated this event.
The event was opened by Hakimbek Abdualimzoda, the rector of the university, who congratulated the participants on the National Flag Day and noted that for every resident of the country, the National flag is a sign of the survival of the Nation, State and Homeland, National unity and the best means of educating the younger generation in the spirit of national pride and protection of high historical and cultural values. The flag of Tajikistan calls the citizens of the country to unity and solidarity, shame and honor, patriotism, protection of borders and lands, efforts to build a justice-loving society and today we should be proud of our national flag, respect it as a sign of national statehood, as a valuable national treasure, and convey its importance to children and young people, said the rector.
It was said that in the modern world, having a state flag is a sign of independence, one of the main symbols of statehood and national unity, that is, the modern state is represented by its flag. The national flag is a symbol of honoring one of the sanctities of the enlightened nation, a sign of the Tajik people's struggle for freedom and independence, an inspiration for the selfless activity of the loyal children of the nation and a guide for the people of our country towards a happy life.
Since time immemorial, the culture-loving Tajik people have owned the flag and used it to express their aspirations and sense of identity. “Respecting the flag is paying tribute to the national culture, civilization-creating ancestors, respecting the nation and the state,” concluded Abdualimzoda H.
Then several active students - participants of the international competition Odinashoeva Mehrona, student of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Finance and Credit, Turaev Qurbonali and Rustamzoda Bahriddin, students of the 4th year of the Faculty of International Economic Relations were awarded with badges of the Association of CIS Students.
The event was made attractive by an interesting concert program prepared by the department of culture of the university headed by Juramurod Muhammadnazar, consisting of dances and songs, a comedy scenes and poetries reading in honor of the National flag.
