Science is the basis of progress

On December 19th of this year, there was held a meeting of the Council of Vice-rectors on Science and Innovation of Higher Educational Institutions at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan - Jamshed Jurazoda. The head of the science and innovation department of the Ministry of Education and Science and its employees, vice-rectors for science and innovation of HEIs of the country participated in this meeting.
Before the meeting there was held an exhibition of the achievements of the university's students and teachers at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics. In this exhibition, the achievements of all faculties were presented by the deputy deans for science.
The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science started the meeting and noted that in order to implement the educational and scientific policy of The Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and the implementation of the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of science and education, it was established the Council of Vice-rectors on Science and Innovation of Higher Educational Institutions by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Then, the head of the science and innovation department of the Ministry of Education and Science, Sirojiddin Niyazi, spoke about the state of implementation of the relevant clauses of the "National Strategy for the Development of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030" in the direction of science and innovation. The speaker noted that by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 526, dated 29.09.2020 it was approved "The National Education Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030". In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Science has approved the Action Plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of the Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 526, dated September 29, 2020, No. 2567, dated 31.12.2020, and is actively working to implement its provisions.
Regarding the issue under consideration, the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science instructed the Council and its members to review the articles of the Master's degree Regulation together with the Department of Science and Innovation and take action to the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan for review and approval until the end of January.
At the same time, regarding the second issue of consideration of the draft decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on making changes to Annex 2 of the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 66, dated 10.02.2016, "On the Regulation of Magistracy", it was also heard the speech of Niyozi Sirojiddin. He said that at the first meeting of the Council, which was held on February 24, 2023, the vice-rectors for science and innovation were instructed to introduce amendments to Annex 2 of the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 66, dated February 10, 2016. "On the Master's degree Regulation" to submit their opinions and suggestions in written and electronically to the Department of Science and Innovation of the Ministry. The Department of Science and Innovation reviewed the proposals of the HEIs and made changes and additions to the aforementioned regulation.
In the continuation of the session, Muminzoda Nekruz - the chief specialist of the science and innovation department reported on the implementation of the "Regulations of the republican competition "Master of the Year" among masters of higher professional and scientific educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan" and "Young researcher and inventor" among students of higher professional and scientific educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan. 
Then the vice-rector for science and innovation of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics - Safarov Bahrom made report on "Research achievements of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics".
It is a matter of pride that in the last part of the meeting, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science, it was presented a certificate of appreciation to TSUFE for the initiative and participation in the final round of the republican competition "Tajiks", the mirror of the nation's history".
In the end, Jamshed Jurazoda, the first deputy minister of education and science wished all the participants of the meeting success in fulfilling their official duties, increasing their professional responsibility, educating the young generation in the spirit of national self-awareness and patriotism.
