We are defenders of the border of the Motherland, we are defenders of the border of our honor!

Under this title, on February 22 of this year, it was held a political and cultural event at TSUFE dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
First, the rector of the university, Hakimbek Abdualimzoda, congratulated the participants on this occasion and spoke about the merits of the National Army in protecting the borders and land of Tajikistan.
Indeed, on February 23, 1993, there was opened a new page in the history of the Independence of our dear Homeland with the establishment of the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan have been operating for more than three decades, have survived cold and hard times, and have passed through severe tests of these years. Currently, the National Army has become a powerful military force, a protector of peace and stability and a peaceful atmosphere in the country, and today officers and soldiers serve faithfully for the reliable protection of the borders and land of the Motherland.
As the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, confidently stated: "During such a sensitive, turbulent and fateful period of the nation's history, that is, on the path to restoring the constitutional order, ensuring peace and stability in our independent country, the faithful children of the Motherland - military personnel of the Armed Forces and law enforcement officers - served well and proved their loyalty to the nation and the State."
- In accordance with the words of the Head of State, I would like to note that TSUFE, as a prestigious educational institution, has raised thousands of honorable young people of the nation during its activity, mobilized in the fields of the national economy and the presentation of the nation in the international arena, as well as in the defense of the Homeland. In the university, there are also many professors who are veterans of the Armed Forces. Therefore, I appeal to my dear students that you should continue the work of the creative children of the Tajik nation, who have graduated from this school of knowledge and are currently serving the people and the country. We are proud of our students, because they actively contribute to the development of the State and the prosperity of the Motherland, they protect the borders and land of their ancestors, they are patriots and are loyal to the people and the state of Tajikistan, - said the rector.
In the continuation, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sino district of Dushanbe, Zohir Habibzoda, spoke and added that according to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan: "Protection of the Motherland, protection of the interests of the state, strengthening of its independence and defense capacity is the sacred duty of every citizen."
The speaker said, that the responsibility and values of border protection are the most sacred duties that every citizen faces. Love for the Motherland, respect and observance of the Constitution and its current laws, respect for the national values of Statehood is the essence of patriotism.
Further, the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurashid Hotamiyon, added in his speech that the National Army was born by Independence and is moving step by step with it.
- The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan is responsible for the protection of the Motherland, ensuring the security of the State, peace and stability in the country and its territorial integrity, strengthening the defense capacity of the State, strengthening order and discipline in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Currently, there are three types of Armed Forces in the National Army: ground forces, rapid action forces, air force and air defense, - said A. Hotamiyon.
Further, according to the order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General Sherali Mirzo, 20 university teachers were awarded medals and certificates of honor. Among other things, the head of the educational department of TSUFE Abdullo Davlatzoda was awarded the medal “30th anniversary of the country’s Armed Forces.”
Also, by order of the rector of the university, law enforcement veterans were awarded with awards for their effective work and significant achievements dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the country.
The program of the cultural department of the university, which consisted of dance and song, a comedy scene and poetry reading in honor of the Motherland, gave a special shine to the event.
