The celebration representing the mother’s greatness

On March 7, in honor of Mother's Day, there was held a cultural and entertainment event at TSUFE. The rector of the university, Hakimbek Abdualimzoda, opened it with a congratulatory speech, saying that the celebration of Mother's Day at the beginning of spring heralds the greatness of women and mothers. Mother is the axis of the family and peace of mind. Mother gives us life and instills the best human qualities in us with her white milk.
The speaker considered the respect and recognition of mother as a human duty of every godly person, and said that it is the life-giving charm of the mother, warm affection and constant care of our mothers and sisters that gives life special strength and intelligence.
- Today, with the efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the role of Tajik women and girls in the society has increased, and they work honestly in all spheres of society. In one of his messages, the Head of state mentioned that "women and girls of the country are working equally with men in the implementation of the state policy and are making a valuable contribution to the development of a democratic, law-based and secular society”.
- We will continue to extend support to women and girls and support their creative initiatives, said H. Abdualimzoda during the meeting.
The rector further noted that in TSUFE, the women and girls in charge work faithfully in various positions and make a valuable contribution to the progress of the university.
Next, the Head of the information department of the Committee for Work with Women and Family under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sabohat Rustam spoke about the support of talented and professional women by the Government of the country and their status in society. The speaker mentioned that today 23 percent of civil servants and 19 percent of management positions are women.
The celebration of Mother's Day, which was announced 15 years ago by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, is proof of the wise and rational policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan regarding the constant attention and support of Tajik women and mothers.
The representative of the committee spoke about the state policy and support for women and girls, and added that during the years of Independence, more than 13 thousand girls graduated from Higher Educational Institutions of the republic through the Presidential quota and work as qualified personnel in all ministries, committees, offices and institutions.
Currently, 11,000 young women are studying science in the HEIs of the republic.
According to the speaker, with the direct support of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, on December 3, 1999, it was approved the fateful decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan "On measures to increase the status of women in society", which became the reason for the improvement of the status of women in the life of society.
- It is not possible to find a sphere or a structure in which the role of a wife-mother is not seen. Because today the third stage of the State Program for education, selection and placement of leading personnel of the Republic of Tajikistan is being implemented at the expense of qualified women and girls.
Also, at this festive event, there were honored the winners of the university competition "Allai Modar» (Mother’s Lullaby). There were awarded also the winners for the best picture of the mother, the creation of the best poem and song in honor of the mother, the best recitation of the poem in the honor of the mother, the best song in the honor of the mother and the best mother’s lullaby. Thus, in this competition, the Economics and Business Faculty won the first place, the International Economic Relations Faculty won the second place, and the Finance and Credit Faculty took the third place.
Also, dedicated to Mother's Day there were presented with a Certificate of Merit for their fruitful work to several teachers and active employees, such as professors Kandiyorova D., Koshonova M., Kosimova S., Orifjhonova V., Atoeva H., Yusupova H., Boltaeva U., Aliyeva Z., Taghoeva R., Ravshanova Sh., Nurova I., Abdusattorova S. and others.
In the end, the "Javani" artistic team of the university presented a colorful concert program consisting of dance and song, poetry reading, and an educational scene on the theme of mother's respect.
