Contest "The best expert of the Tax Code" in TSUFE

On May 2 of this year, there was held the Republican Contest "The best expert of the Tax Code" in TSUFE by the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, dedicated to the Day of Tax Authorities and the "Year of Legal Education" and with the aim of increasing the level of tax paying education of the country's residents. 
First of all, the participants of the contest - 94 students from 12 higher professional educational institutions where tax and taxation are taught, and their leaders visited the achievements of TSUFE and laboratories of Digital economy and Customs services, and got acquainted with the conditions of education at the university.
The opening part of the contest was held in the conference hall and it was attended by Sobir Vazirov, head of the Tax Legislation Improvement Department of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Komron Saidov, deputy head of the Committee's Personnel and Special Affairs Department, Umed Abdulmajidzoda, chief specialist of the Tax Policy and State Payments Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, participants of the contest, teachers from of Higher Professional Education Institutions.
The Rector of TSUFE, Abdualimzoda Hakimbek, opened the meeting, welcomed the participants of the contest and the guests to the university, and noted that holding the contest «The best expert of the Tax Code» has become a tradition at TSUFE. This contest is held within the framework of cooperation with the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and It turns out that interest in this contest is increasing year by year.
- It is certain that the tax policy of the Republic of Tajikistan is conducted on the basis of the emphasis of the Great Leader of the Nation and measures of the Government of the country. The main goal of the tax and budget policy is to mobilize and effectively use of state financial resources in order to achieve the goals of social and economic development of the country. Of course, qualified specialists are needed to promote the tax policy, and TSUFE, along with other educational institutions of the country, contributes to the training of specialists in the field, and most of the employees of the tax authorities are our graduates - said the rector.
At the end of his speech, he wished good luck to the participants of the contest.
Then Sobir Vazirov, on behalf of the management of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, congratulated the participants of the contest and noted that the purpose of the contest is to promote the tax policy and taxation as the foundation of the state, to understand taxation issues and to increase the knowledge of tax payment.
He emphasized that it has become clear from experience that most of the employees of the ministries and state offices do not know the legislation on taxes and taxation, and the holding of such events lays the foundation for raising the awareness of tax payment among citizens and promoting it.
Vazirov S., during the event, introduced the conditions of the contest to the participants. The contest will be held according to two nominations - "Team-practical" and "Team-theoretical". Opponents are determined by drawing lots.
The contest will be concluded tomorrow, May 3, and the winners will be awarded certificates of honor and gifts.
