In honor of the day of unity
On June 26, 2014 festive event of the 17th anniversary of the signing of the National Peace Agreement in Tajikistan was organized in FEIT. National Unity Day is one of the officially established holidays of Tajikistan. This day, seventeen years ago, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and leader of the United Tajik Opposition Said Nuri signed the "General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Agreement in Tajikistan", thereby putting an end to the fratricidal war. For Tajikistan this Agreement created conditions for democratic development of society, free elections and the country's economic recovery, has historical significance.
Odilov N. - professor and chairman of the Veterans Council of National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan, Gafurov A. - Head of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Sino Hukumat of Dushanbe, Kamolov T. - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PDP in Sino district of Dushanbe, teachers, students and their parents took part at the event.
Rector of FEIT Soliyev A.A. in his congratulatory speech, noted the importance of the Day of National Unity for all Tajik people. This historic date was the beginning stage of dynamic development of independent Tajik state and establish a solid foundation for the realization of the creative process in the republic. Soliyev A.A. also noted that the achievement of peace and unity is the embodiment of the victory of common sense, high humanistic qualities of the people and the celebration of historical justice, and that especially in today's not quiet world, we Tajik people should treasure it and protect our unity.
Associate Professor of Department of Banking Hayrov S. made a presentation on "National Unity is a Factor of Economic Development of Tajikistan", which focused on the economic prerequisites to preserve the national unity of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Kamolov T., Professor Odilov N. and Vohidov V. also congratulated students and guests at the event, who noted the particular importance of this date for the Tajik people.
As part of the event "red" diplomas were awarded to graduates who have graduated of institute with honors. Rector of FEIT solemnly gave diplomas to the graduates and wished them achieve success in their professional activities.
The graduates Bobozoda Afzalshoh, Maruf Gulomov, Sadi Kurbonov Rahimzoda Firuzi Madkarim expressed gratitude to the administration of the Institute and teachers for their continued support and care for the students.
