After the Speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Pedagogical University of Tajikistan there was solemn event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge in FEIT, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Dzhonmahmadova M.H. and Director of the Edition Center of textbooks of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Isoev K.S. The Rector of Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan Soliev A.A., opened the meeting and congratulated staff and the students with the new academic year. He noted that every year on September 1 on the initiative of President of Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon the Lesson of Peace is held in all institutions of the country. It should be noted that the President and Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is constantly showing special attention and care to the development of education, create all necessary conditions for the formation and development of youth. Today the State and the Government is taking all possible measures to improve the conditions of live and studying of young people, as well as support and encourage talented young people. As talented young people is the pride of the nation, that it is able to ensure the progress of science and culture of the nation and to serve future generations as worthy heirs of our ancestors.

Then the congratulatory word was made by the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Dzhonmahmadova M.H. She noted that the development of all sectors of public life depends on the quality of education and that is why the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan attaches great importance to the process of organizing training and education of the younger generation and the training of young specialists. She urged students to show diligence to study and to become in the future the worthy successor of the nation of independent state and creative generation of our favorite Homeland.

Isoev K.S. congratulated the students on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and said that this year should be successful for teachers and students of the institute. As for teachers and students was created favorable conditions for successful learning and working. 

He noted that today education is determined by our Government as strengthening basis of the state, as well as the main and strategic direction of policy of the independent state. President Emomali Rahmon and the government make everything to create a modern base of education and the inclusion of Tajikistan in a single international educational space. Teachers and students should direct all their efforts on the successful work and study.

At the end of the solemn meeting the first year undergraduate Rahimzoda Firuzi Madkarim, thanked the guests and the administration of the Institute on behalf of the students handed over the symbolic key of knowledge to the first-year students and encouraged them to conquer the peaks of knowledge. 

Farida Sodikova, the first-year student of the Faculty of Finance and Credit made a speech on behalf of the students. She promised to study hard and master the basics of science steadily, constantly work on yourself, to become a qualified specialist and contribute to the development of our sovereign state. 

At the end of the solemn meeting the guests visited the new Institute building, where the Faculty of Economic Law and the Faculty of International Economic Relations are situated. There are 24 studies, 34 classrooms, two computer labs, test center and gym. The guests expressed their appreciation for the repair and organizational work.
