Research work brings results
On October 2, 2014 was held a meeting of the administration of the Science. The issues related to the research activities of the staff of the institute were discussed there. The Chair of the meeting, vice-rector for Science G. Ashurov, analyzed in his speech research activities of the staff of the Institute, elaborated on the achievements in this direction. G. Ashurov noted that the purpose of the meeting is to advance scientific, research and innovation activity in the institute. He said: “Our institute has to be not only a producer of new knowledge, but also an active participant in their distribution and use through innovation”.
The Head of Research Department of FEIT K. Mukimov drew attention to shortcomings in this area, as well as to revitalize the scientific circles, the publication of scientific articles and implementation of individual plans of the teachers. It was noted that the involvement of teachers in research and innovation is a prerequisite to their professional activities. The solution to this problem should be an integral part of the development strategy of FEIT.
The Head of the Post-graduate study M. Alidzhonova spoke about the planning and organization of the educational process for graduate students at the institute and the results of admission to the post-graduate course this year. It was noted that not all graduate students show their activity in research work. There were given suggestions to eliminate disadvantages in this area.
The Head of the Publishing Department of the Institute S. Nosirov noted in his speech that the quality of scientific articles handed over to the publication not always meet the existing requirements, because it is the quality of scientific articles published in the pages of the scientific journal of the Institute, determines the level of scientific edition.
Summarizing the work of the meeting, G. Ashurov urged the Heads of the departments and other officials to make every effort to improve the research activities of the staff of the institute.
It should be noted that the administration of the Research department responded to numerous participants’ questions that made clear in the decision of some existing problems.
