Finance Department

History of the Department

Department of "Finance and Credit" was established by order of the rector of the former Tajik finance institute on June 9, 2010, №3/4 as a specialized producing department and started functioning from September 01, 2010. After the coming together Tajik Financial Institute and the Institute of Economics of Tajikistan in August 2012 the department was renamed and became operational in the future as the Department of "Finance and Money Circulation" Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan. Purpose of the organization of the department is to ensure the training of qualified personnel for the financial authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan. Nowadays, the department has and conducts research and teaching activities of 11 full-time teachers, of which 1- PhD, Professor, 4-PhD, 6- senior teachers and 1- assistant. In addition to full-time teachers, the department has five part-time teachers, including leading experts of financial bodies and researchers from other universities of the country. Teaching staff of the department complies with state standards and allows training of qualified personnel in the field of economics and finance. The department currently provides teaching these disciplines in the Tajik and Russian languages on the credit system of study:

15. Financial Economics;

At the department for all the above subject matters are model programs, syllabuses and fund lectures in written and electronic forms that are available to each student and master's degrees. Educational and methodological base of the chair is updated annually, taking into account the changes taking place in the economy and in teaching methods. The department pays great attention to the professional development of teachers and implementation in the educational process of teaching methods and information technologies. Currently, all lectures are conducted with the use of the electronic board. At the department functioning educational and methodical study, which is equipped with the necessary posters and other visual aids, teaching materials and in the future it is planned to equip modern means of training in order to allow students to engage productively in the exercise of independent work. For attracting students to conduct research work in the field of economics and finance at the department on a permanent basis functions Students' scientific circle, where students take lectures on how to conduct research work themselves write scientific reports and projects and make scientific reports, and also participate in the discussion of scientific papers.
