The Faculty of Accounting and Statistics is one of the main units of the educational and scientific structure of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics (TSUFE). Since its establishment, it has organized the faculty’s educational, methodological, scientific, and extracurricular activities in accordance with the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, current regulatory legal acts, the TSUFE Charter, and the directives of the university administration.

The Faculty of Accounting and Statistics of TSUFE was established by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute (now University) No. 1 on May 30, 2012, and by the order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 39 on May 31, 2012.

The main activity of the faculty is the training of highly qualified specialists, and the educational process is organized according to the credit system. The credit system is a European model of education, widely recognized worldwide, allowing students to study under this system in universities across Europe and continue their studies seamlessly if they transfer to higher education institutions in other countries.

The faculty has three modern computer laboratories equipped with up-to-date technical means and new-generation computers. There are 100 computers connected to the international Internet network, 5 electronic boards with projectors, 1 wall-mounted tablet, 6 touch panels, 1 banner screen, 21 multifunction printers, scanners, and other technical equipment at the disposal of students and faculty, enhancing the faculty’s material and technical base. The faculty also includes two “1C Accounting” laboratories and one computer science laboratory, where students study under specialized programs.

The faculty structure includes the Faculty Academic Council, the Scientific-Methodological Council, the Dean of the Faculty, educational and training advisors, the Deputy Dean for Science and International Relations, the departments of accounting, economic analysis and statistics, auditing and revision, as well as a document management operator. The faculty is led by an experienced scholar, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yoribek Tilabov.

The Faculty of Accounting and Statistics has three specialized departments:

  • Department of Accounting;

  • Department of Economic Analysis and Statistics;

  • Department of Auditing and Revision.

It should be noted that the Faculty of Accounting and Statistics indeed has these three specialized departments: Accounting, Economic Analysis and Statistics, and Auditing and Revision. It is worth noting that the Department of Accounting is headed by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Bobomurodov B.E., the Department of Economic Analysis and Statistics by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Shodiev K.K., and the Department of Auditing and Revision by Candidate of Economic Sciences, Assistant Barortov A.Kh.

At the Faculty of Accounting and Statistics, specialists are trained in the following fields:

In the Faculty, in the 2024–2025 academic year, a total of 824 students are enrolled, which is 24 fewer than in the 2023–2024 academic year. Among them:

  • 179 students are on a state-funded basis;

  • 645 students are on a contract basis.

By gender:

  • 704 students are male;

  • 120 students are female.

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the total faculty and staff number 67, of which:

  • 41 are full-time professors;

  • 15 are internal part-time staff;

  • 7 are external part-time staff;

  • 4 are document operators.

In the scientific research work of the faculty, 32 professors participate, completing their research according to the stages they have chosen. It is worth noting that 50% of them are professors with academic degrees.
