On January 7, 2022, by the order of the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 13/shd, Dissertation Council 6D.KOA-014 was established at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics for awarding the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) – Doctor in the specialties 6D050600 – Economics (6D050606 – Regional and Territorial Economics and 6D050611 – Services in the Fields of Science, Education, and Social Sphere) and 6D050900 – Finance (6D050901 – Finance, Monetary Circulation, and Credit), as well as for awarding the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in the specialties 08.00.03 – Regional and Territorial Economics, 08.00.05 – Service Sector Economics (08.00.05.02 – Services in the Fields of Science, Education, and Social Sphere), and 08.00.07 – Finance, Monetary Circulation, and Credit.

The Dissertation Council is authorized to accept and review dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) – Doctor in the specified specialties, as well as for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in the listed specialties.
