Faculty information note

The Faculty of Customs Activity and Economic Security is one of the main academic and scientific divisions of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.
It is a newly established faculty, which, since its foundation, has been carrying out educational, methodological, scientific, and upbringing activities in accordance with the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as well as state education standards, academic plans and programs, current legal acts, the University Charter, and the directives of the university administration.

The Faculty of Customs Activity and Economic Security of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics was established in its new structure by the decision of the Academic Council No. 90/i dated July 7, 2025.

The main goal of the faculty is the training of highly qualified specialists.
The educational process is organized as follows:

  • Full-time studies — based on the credit system,

  • Part-time studies — based on both the traditional and credit-based distance learning systems.

The structure of the faculty includes:

  • The Faculty Academic Council,

  • The Faculty Scientific and Methodological Council,

  • The Dean of the Faculty,

  • Educational and upbringing advisors,

  • The Deputy Dean for Science,

  • Departments of Customs Activity and Economic Security,

  • The Registrar’s Office,

  • The Documentation Operator of the Faculty.

The faculty is headed by Burieva Mastura Chorievna, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, a highly experienced and respected scholar.

The faculty operates a customs laboratory, equipped with modern technical means for customs service specialties.
The faculty possesses 20 computers connected to the Internet, 8 wall-mounted tablets, 5 multifunction printers, a scanner, and other technical devices available for students and teachers, enriching the faculty’s material and technical base.

   According to the order of the Rector of the University, the Faculty of Customs Activity and Economic Security operates two specialized departments:

  • Department of Customs Activity;

  • Department of Economic Security.

The Faculty of Customs Activity and Economic Security employs 26 experienced teachers, including 1 Doctor of Science (Professor), 9 Candidates of Science, 9 Senior Lecturers, and 8 Assistants, who are engaged in the educational and upbringing process of students.

The faculty is considered one of the leading faculties of the university and trains specialists in the following fields:

  • 1-960101 — Customs Service;

  • 1-96010102 — Economic Support of Customs Activity;

  • 1-96010103 — Economic Security;

  • 1-25010409 — Finance and Control in the Field of Customs Activity.

In addition, faculty instructors conduct classes using interactive whiteboards and computer software, which helps students acquire knowledge at a high level.
At the specialized departments of the faculty, there is a scientific discussion club called “Young Customs Officers”, in which the faculty’s students actively participate.
