HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

            The Department of Russian Language of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics was established by the decision of the Academic Council and the order of the Rector of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics dated 27.08.2016 for 179/14 d/n "On the formation and structure of departments" on the basis of the Department of Tajik and Russian languages.

            Later, in March 2018, the Finance and Economics Institute of Tajikistan, by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, was transformed into the Tajik State Finance and Economics University.

During the existence of the department, the position of head of the department was occupied by:

            in 2016-2017, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Kodirova Bunavshamokh Azizullaevna;

            from 2017 to the present, the head of the department is candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Navruzova Gulshan Tursunovna.

            The Department of Russian Language is one of the university-wide departments and conducts its educational activities based on the recommendations of the President of the country and the instructions from the Messages of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, as well as regulatory legal acts in the field of education.

            The department's work plan is also approved annually by the university administration, on the basis of which the department's teachers fulfill their duties in a timely manner.

            The department's teachers conduct their teaching activities in accordance with the developed and approved research plans.

            The research work of the department is carried out in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the administration and the Department of Science and Innovation of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.

            The department also regularly holds round table discussions on current topics, which are held with the participation of experienced education specialists and teachers from higher educational institutions of the city, where scientists and students present reports on current topics and seek answers to questions posed during the events.

            The department's teachers conduct research work in the department's scientific direction and hold annual conferences, round tables, and scientific seminars on current issues of the department.

            The Russian language department has a student scientific circle called "Learn Russian".

            The department has a powerful intellectual, material, technical and personnel base, which makes a significant contribution to the training of specialists in demand in the labor market.

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT

             The department has close scientific ties with all scientific institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and is in close cooperation in the development of scientific materials and textbooks. Also, the Russian language department has established close cooperation with the “Russian World” Foundation

            The head of the department Navruzova G.T. constantly acts as an official opponent in the specialty of pedagogy.

            In 2024, the head of the department Navruzova G.T. published an article in the international journal SCOPUS on the topic "The Model for Professional Competence Development of Engineering Teachers at Colleges" Conference paper.
