The Department of Organizational and Educational Affairs is a structural unit of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics. It operates based on the University Charter and the Regulations of the Academic Council, working on all matters related to educational and upbringing activities, and serves as the main body responsible for regulating educational relations within the University.

The staff of the Department of Organizational and Educational Affairs is obliged to ensure the implementation and practical execution of the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Concept of Upbringing, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Education,” the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Youth and the State Youth Policy,” as well as the Model Regulations for Higher Professional Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Charter of TUFE, the decisions of the Academic Council, the orders of the Rector, and directives from the University administration.

In order to observe important historical dates and to involve faculty members and students in political, cultural, and sports events, the Department develops an activity plan and strictly monitors its implementation across all educational subdivisions of the University.

The Department also undertakes necessary measures to ensure the practical implementation of the National Concept of Upbringing in the Republic of Tajikistan. Its regular study is organized during educational hours of academic groups, and the conduct of these sessions is supervised according to the approved schedule.

In recent years, alongside academic and scientific activities, higher educational institutions of the country have paid special attention to the content and process of educational and upbringing work.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has highlighted in his speeches the role of the intellectual community in strengthening national statehood, promoting development, and fostering civic initiative. He has emphasized that universities and institutes must give serious attention not only to academic instruction but also to upbringing activities.

Therefore, the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics and its Department of Organizational and Educational Affairs fully support the state policy promoted by the Leader of the Nation. In their comprehensive activities, they follow the wise and constructive instructions of the Leader of the Nation, as well as the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe City, and the Academic Council.

The staff of the Department directs all their efforts, professional dedication, and responsibility toward implementing state educational policy, improving the quality of education, preparing highly qualified and competitive specialists for the labor market, and integrating the institution into the global educational space.

TASKS OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL DEPARTMENT

• Organizing primary educational structures and supporting their effective functioning;

• Defining the main directions of educational activities at the university;

• Monitoring the implementation of regulatory legal documents related to education and culture within university structures;

• Monitoring the implementation of elements of the National Concept of Upbringing of the Republic of Tajikistan at the university and regulating the content of educational work at faculties and departments;

• Monitoring the implementation of decisions of the Academic Council related to educational issues;

• Overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of educational and cultural plans and programs of the university and its subdivisions;

• Organizing and conducting informational, political-educational, cultural-entertainment, and other events that promote students’ national pride and self-awareness;

• Preparing drafts of rector’s orders and decisions of the Academic Council related to educational activities;

• Supervising the work of deputy deans responsible for educational affairs;

• Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of scheduled educational hours and submitting reports to the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs;

• Promoting university activities through mass media;

• Conducting inspections and monitoring at faculties regarding compliance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 31, 2007 on the Recommended Dress Code, ensuring proper duty shifts in academic buildings, preventing students from arriving to classes by private transport, preventing the use of mobile phones and tobacco during classes.
