On December 20, 2022, with the participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, His Excellency Rustam Rahmon, the new academic building of the University, including the Educational Banking Laboratory, was officially inaugurated.

It is a matter of great pride, as this day became a historic event for our University. The Head of the Tajik state visited our University for the first time. On this unforgettable day, for the first time among higher education institutions of the country, the Educational Banking Laboratory, meeting modern international standards, was inaugurated with the direct participation of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

In accordance with the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the leadership of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics established the Educational Banking Laboratory, meeting international standards, with the aim of integrating theory with practice in the educational process, preparing highly qualified personnel in finance and banking, and contributing to the development of the country’s economy.

According to clauses 10 and 11 of the Action Plan of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 5, 2023, No. 24/10-11, “On the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, given during the visit to the facilities of Dushanbe City on December 20, 2022,” ministries, agencies, and banks are required to establish cooperation with universities and institutes in the training of specialized personnel and their recruitment for employment.

The activities of the Educational Banking Laboratory are under constant supervision regarding the conduct of practical lessons, the introduction of effective teaching methods, the organization of scientific research, and the creation of research groups.

Considering the above instructions of the Leader of the Nation, the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics has established cooperation with the Joint-Stock Company “Amonatbank” to prepare highly qualified personnel in banking and contribute to the development of the country’s economy. Monthly practical lessons for students are conducted by specialists from JSC “Amonatbank.”

The Educational Banking Laboratory is equipped with necessary tools for conducting practical classes:

  • wall-mounted tablet;

  • laptop (HP brand);

  • bookcases, student desks, and informational boards with advertising of JSC “Amonatbank.”

In addition to practical lessons, second-year students (full-time and part-time) specializing in 1-25010402 — Banking undertake their academic internship in the Educational Banking Laboratory according to the schedule approved by the University administration.

During the sessions, students become familiar with the technical equipment, documents used in banking practice, and other operations performed within the Educational Banking Laboratory.

This laboratory allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, gain comprehensive understanding of the banking sector, and prepare for their future careers as highly qualified specialists.
